Position Objective

The IT Project Manager Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in our organization, driving the development and implementation of project management procedures, analyzing current IT systems processes, documenting future requirements, and ensuring project deliverables that not only satisfy but exceed the expectations of our business user community. This role requires a deep understanding of our company's IT systems and business processes, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Major Functions

Understand Business Processes

• Analyze current business processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Document process flows, dependencies, and key stakeholders involved.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business processes and project goals.

Gather and Analyze Requirements

• Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Document detailed requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to ensure requirements are clear and actionable.
• Conduct requirement prioritization sessions with stakeholders to align on project priorities.

Develop and Implement Test Plans

• Create comprehensive test plans, including test objectives, strategies, and timelines.
• Develop test cases based on project requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate testing efforts with stakeholders, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and are free from defects.

Lead Complex Projects

• Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Manage project execution, monitoring progress against plan and making adjustments as necessary.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize impact on project timeline and budget.
