We have open positions for Heavy Equipment Field Technicians with full time or float positions in Colorado, Wyoming, Texas, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, and Arkansas. These are all Fly in/ Fly out positions. You can live anywhere in the United States to work at Twisted G.

The technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, reconditioning, overhaul and maintenance of customer and company heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers. Depending on location and duty assignment, will also be responsible for some or all of the functions and duties listed below.
We work in a majority of the "Off Highway" industries and are constantly expanding into more.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
Prepares accurate and complete service reports and turns them in upon completion of assigned job. Prepares inspections and reports. Prepares part requests and submits in a timely fashion. Communicates effectively with service manager to ensure problems, nature of repair, and status of repairs are understood and followed up on. Cleans, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and components. Prepares, inspects, and operates machines prior to delivery. Removes, disassembles, assembles, and installs components and parts. Orders replacement parts ensuring that parts orders are correct and complete at the time of order. Services and maintains equipment sold and/or owned by the company. Tests measures, and adjusts engine and machine systems and components. Diagnoses and troubleshoots machine and engine malfunctions and failures. Analyzes customer repair and maintenance requirements. Keeps up to date with developments in tooling, technologies and systems. Uses safe working practices and follows all company safety requirements. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Performs maintenance activities on new and rebuilt/repaired equipment. General welding and metal fabrication.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Education/ Job Experience: Diesel/ auto mechanic, metal fabrication and welding, hydraulic systems, transmissions, drive trains. Field service. Mobile mechanic. Prefer CDL-B or A (Willing to assist for the right candidate)Prefer MSHA (Willing to assist for the right candidate)Computer Skills: Basic ability to search for and enter data into a computer. Ability to type service reports. Other duties as assigned by Manager

Salary: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
Our headquarters are in Colorado but the majority of our techs are traveling techs and work out of state. No need to live in or even relocate to Colorado. Traveling techs work a rotating travel/ shift work schedule of 20 days on, 10 days off. We are very flexible with our schedules and our roving techs get LOTS of home time. Lots of room for advancement, travel, continuing education, promotions, etc.
