Job Summary – The Retail Sports Analyst plays a critical part of the Retail Sports Operations team. The role is responsible for providing day-to-day support and assistance to the Director of Retail Sports in various areas of the operation. This position is onsite at the corporate office in Louisville, KY and may include up to 15% travel.

Essential Functions –

  • Assist Director of Retail Sports with identifying high and low performing aspects of the sportsbook and developing a strategy focusing on performance growth
  • Assist with the overall sportsbook retail operations across multiple properties. Point person for all retail-based question and troubleshooting
  • Assist with drafting and ongoing maintenance of detailed Standard Operating Procedures for all Retail Sportsbook locations in relation to operations, internal and external technical support, and other cross functional teams (Compliance, Marketing, IT Security, Gaming Ops)
  • Assist with drafting and review of Internal Controls and House Rules in line with individual state regulations
  • Provide support to Director of Retail Sports with received inquiries and sports betting related questions from regulatory bodies in various jurisdictions
  • Coordinate activities with corporate and property-based Marketing and Branding teams, to ensure brand standards are adhered to
  • Assist with overlooking the performance of any outsourced trading activities and risk management
  • Research and discovery of the latest industry trends leading to revenue optimization
  • Interact with Accounting and Data Analytics team to ensure accuracy of financial reports and operating data
  • Available to travel, up to 15%
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience understanding & knowledge of sports and sports betting
  • Must have at least 1-2 years’ experience working in a regulated casino environment
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • BS/BA degree required

Licenses / Certificates:

  • Must be able to obtain required Racing and Gaming Licenses
