About Twinkle Star Dance Academy:

Twinkle Star Dance Academy is a vibrant and growing dance studio where fostering a love for dance goes hand-in-hand with building a supportive community. We offer a variety of classes for all ages, starting from as young as 2 years old. Our award-winning curriculum provides a fun and engaging way for students to learn the fundamentals of dance in a positive and encouraging environment.

We are looking for enthusiastic and qualified dance instructors who:

• Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching dance to children (preferred).
• Strong technical foundation in one or more dance styles (ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, etc.).
• A clean background check is required.
• Qualities:
• Possess a bubbly personality and a genuine love for working with children.
• Have a strong passion for dance and a desire to share that passion with others.
• Are excellent communicators who can clearly explain dance concepts and motivate students.
• Thrive in a team environment and enjoy collaborating with fellow instructors.
• Can be a positive role model for our young dancers, instilling values of teamwork, respect, and self-confidence.
• Are available to work Saturdays, as many of our classes are offered on this day.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging dance classes for assigned age groups and skill levels, following our established curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring their creativity.
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their dance technique and performance.
• Monitor student progress and maintain clear communication with parents regarding their child's development.
• Participate in studio events and activities to build a sense of community.
• Attend ongoing training opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest dance trends and teaching methods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.57 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 20 per week
