Twinfield School District is a prek through Grade 12 school located in Plainfield, Vermont. The school has a close community and a sense of belonging for all.Twinfield Union School is looking for a middle and high school science/STEM teacher to join their teaching team. This position blends structures of classroom science instruction, hands-on problem solving, and integration of technology, engineering, and math to provide engaging learning opportunities for students. Twinfield’s campus contains woods and river access as well as countless opportunities for community connections for authentic and place-based learning. We are looking for an innovative educator to teach two high school science classes, one middle school STEM class, and collaborate with colleagues to integrate STEM into multidisciplinary units of study. Twinfield has a strong culture of collaboration and support, and this teacher will be joining a team of experienced and creative science educators. Teachers follow a Collective Bargaining Agreement for benefits and salary. Pay is based on degree and work experience. Teachers at Twinfield work a 7.5 hour work day and 185 days including in-service days. All teachers must be licensed in the endorsement they are working in.
