Twinfield Union School is seeking an early education teacher motivated to create an exciting, educational and fun learning environment for 3, 4, and 5-year-olds. We will have a need for a long term substitute starting August 2024 until February 2025.The candidate should have an understanding of issues of equity to meet the needs of all learners. The candidate should be a team player, willing to collaborate with all stakeholders. The candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the Vermont Early Standards, the Creative Curriculum for Preschool, and Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment. They should have a strong understanding of developmentally appropriate early literacy and math instruction. The applicant will have a desire to be part of a professional learning community and engage in meaningful conversations about educating our youngest learners. We seek an educator with an interest in outdoor education that will utilize our nature trails and other outdoor learning opportunities. Above all, candidates need to have a passion for education and a love of young children.
