Job Summary:
In collaboration with the Director of Marketing & Sales, you play a pivotal role in steering the marketing department's strategies, messaging, and campaigns. You support marketing, sales, and operations to increase lead generation, improve brand awareness and perception, and support the company’s growth and innovation. This role encompasses responsibilities as a leader, strategist, and individual contributor, with special focus on implementation and utilization of marketing technologies and continuous improvement of messaging and communications. The role demands a keen eye for detail, strong project coordination and interpersonal skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.

You successfully fulfill the following essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Manage the research, development, and implementation of innovative marketing technologies to improve the customer experience, increase sales, and create efficiencies through automation.
  • Collaborate with marketing staff and vendors to optimize conversions across key top-of-funnel activities including website traffic, landing pages, lead content generation, and calls-to-action through building of targeted marketing programs aligned to the buyer’s journey.
  • Oversee the management of marketing databases, including segmentation, analysis, and utilization for targeted marketing efforts.
  • Develop messaging to support organizational goals with customer communications, public relations, and advertising.
  • Develop and utilize written and video storytelling to increase lead generation and communicate key differentiators/product benefits.
  • Create and publish high-quality written content and messaging guidelines for internal and external audiences, with great attention to detail.
  • Influence the multi-channel marketing strategy for product marketing, content creation, and internal/external communication to increase lead generation, retain customers, improve community relations, and achieve other organizational goals.
  • Support the company’s community outreach and digital inclusion initiatives, which may include strategy development and community relations and event planning activities.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
  • Exhibit indirect leadership of the marketing team, providing mentoring and coaching towards achieving organizational objectives. Delegate appropriate duties and responsibilities.
  • Champion collaborative and forward-thinking relationships with leadership and internal departments to support the company and objectives.
  • Stay informed of developments in marketing, communications, public relations, and the broadband industry.
  • Ability to perform duties on an individual basis with minimal direct supervision.
  • Support the company by completing other duties as assigned.

You will meet the following educational, licensing, certification, and work experience requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing, communications, journalism or relevant field of study.
  • Four or more years of successful experience in multi-channel marketing and communications with a deep understanding of the intersection of consumer experience, media, marketing, and digital technology.
  • Experience in office productivity software (email, calendar, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, etc.).
  • Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license; driving record must meet the criteria of the company’s insurance carrier for acceptance of coverage.

Experience that will help you stand out as a candidate:
  • Experience in marketing planning, strategy and workflows, business process design, behavioral marketing, data mining and competitor analysis.
  • Experience in identifying, implementing, and working with communication automations, the latest marketing trends and technologies, and managing integrated multi-tiered marketing efforts.
  • Knowledge in effective use of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Telecommunications product and industry knowledge.
