We are seeking a reliable industrial maintenance technician to ensure the optimal functioning of all equipment and machines at our facility. The industrial maintenance technician’s responsibilities include identifying faulty equipment, making relevant adjustments to machinery, carrying out maintenance tasks in a productive manner, communicating problems to staff, and maintaining technical knowledge.
Essential Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
Knowledge of troubleshooting and repair of production equipment such as CNC machines, press brakes, welders, etc.
Ability to diagnose and perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance to fleet equipment such as trucks and forklifts.
Maintain and operate preventive maintenance program of machines and facility.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual facility inspections.
Ensure safety issues are corrected immediately.
Follow all work safety policies and guidelines.
Observe equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns.
Help maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Schedule service or trades as needed or required.
Ability to self-supervise and manage multiple functions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to follow diagrams, operation manuals and manufacturing instructions.
Must be able to read schematics.
Must be able to perform troubleshooting of machines and facilities.
Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to use tools and diagnostic equipment.
Must have ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job.
Must have hand tools or willingness to purchase the minimum tools required for the position.
Must have ability to perform basic math and measuring functions.
Have an interest in working with new technology.
Able to pass a post offer drug screen.
Must have valid driver’s license in good standing.
