* Maintaining current safety standards and implementing continuing education
training programs

*Ensure the company and all employees comply with FMCSA, DOT, CSA, HOS, ELD
and other governmental regulations

*Understand and assist in the development, execution, and measurement of safety
goals and management of the company's DOT Driver/Trucking compliance

programs, including but not limited to CMV files, DOT driver qualification files, DOT
drug/Alcohol programs , vehicle inspections, and hours of service

*Oversees employees regarding safety regulations, attention to Logs on ELD's Samsara

* Work with insurance company's on Work Comp and accident claims

*Qualifying and orientation with on coming new drivers explaining company policies and payroll

*Working and understanding safety procedures as well, as federal, state, and provincial safety

* Good People skills and patience

*Seeking someone to assist where needed as a team, includes recruiting

*Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines

*Ability to function well in high paced environment

*A knack for technology with a high level of proficiency with MS office apps

*knowledge of Omnitracs /ELD

Qualifications

*Background in transportation safetywith knowledge of DOT safety guidelines and
regulations/experienced safety director

Job Details:

*Full Time Monday through Friday/ after hours calls if any accidents

*pay commensurate with experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
