Duties of the warehouse coordinator position :
- Lead and mentor a team
- Assist with all warehouse duties as needed
- Prepare and manage international and domestic shipments
- Complete bills of lading and understand various forms used by major freight carriers
- Manage proper packaging methods and interpret visual aids for packaging requirements
- Arrange carrier pick-ups as specified in customer purchase orders
- Maintain adequate inventory of shipping materials
- Handle receiving responsibilities, including interpreting packing slips, entering correct information into the computer, arranging sample deliveries, and acknowledging receipt of goods
- Utilize UPS / FEDEX and other online systems for shipping orders
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
Requirements of the warehouse coordinator position :
- 3-5 years of warehouse experience
- Leadership experience within a warehouse / manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
