Twin City Staffing is Hiring a Packaging Technician Near Plymouth, MN

Location: Plymouth, MN
Wage: $17.50 - 18/hr., plus overtime
Hours:
- 1st shift: 6:50 am – 3 pm, Monday – Friday
- 2nd shift: 2:50 pm – 11 am, Monday – Friday

Duties of the package technician:
- Inspect and pack products to quality specifications and standards
- Apply case labels and maintain the proper numerical sequence of cases
- Use case taper to secure cases
- Verify material for disposal and regrind
- Remove tubs of recycling material from the production floor
- Follow dispatches and print work orders and labels
- Process skid and hold tags
- Conduct Oracle transactions as needed
- Identify and communicate quality deviations or nonconforming product
- Read product drawings and perform product measurements
Qualifications of the packaging technician:
- Experience as a machine operator or the willingness to learn
- Adherence to health and safety regulations including PPE
- Attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
