Duties of medical device quality control specialist:

• Perform quality control assurance tasks to ensure high quality products
• Team collaboration in product development
• Ability to perform product registration documents
• Maintain compliance of high quality documents and products
• Approve/reject products based on quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of inspections
• Inspect packaging and labeling for compliance
• Check incoming materials for quality assurance
• Gather calibration equipment for calibration processes
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports
• Receive and process incoming shipments

Requirements of medical device quality control specialist:

• 2 years of experience in a quality assurance/regulatory affairs background in medical devices, which involves extensive documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in medical device, engineering, or other closely related field
• Familiarity with FDA quality management systems and/or preferably ISO quality management systems
• Proficient in reading and using gauges and measurement tools
• Computer skills – Word processing, spreadsheets, and other applications
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen/background check
