Summary: We are seeking a self-motivated, efficient, and meticulous Material Handler I to join our team. As a Material Handler with our organization, you will be responsible for loading/unloading products, maintaining stock in the warehouse, picking, packing, and moving stock and other materials to fulfill orders. The ideal candidate for the material handler position is an individual with a background in order fulfillment for a CPG or eCommerce company and has operating knowledge of fulfillment in a WMS or warehouse software environment.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following but not limited too. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.
2. Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
3. Identify and label materials, record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory.
4. Operate pallet jacks and other equipment to move freight.
5. Perform physical inventory counts and report cycle count results.
6. Picks, packs, and stages completed orders in an organized manner to ensure product is shipped correctly.
7. Loads trucks based upon customer routing and compliance requirements.
8. Review BOL against orders to ensure orders and quantity are correct before being loaded.
9. Utilize RF handheld and warehouse computer systems to pick, pack and ship products accurately.
10. Comply with all warehouse safety and health regulations.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, order documents and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision, WMS or like systems.
