TCH is looking for a Part-Time Assistant Project Manager to support National Account Services staff/ Project Managers by utilizing product knowledge to provide customers with a superior experience.

Essential Job Functions

• Enter orders into MBC system in an accurate and timely manner
• Send warranty letters to customers
• Calculate job totals and assist with final billing
• Work closely with Purchasing regarding inventory levels and project timelines
• Process factory quote requests
• Quote small/basic projects based on plan specifications (incl. metal or wood doors, frames & hardware)
• Help troubleshoot with service providers on projects
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure that questions are answered and follow when needed
• Assist with phone call overflow for National Account Services dept
• Perform on-line research for special material needed
• Assist Project Managers with coordination of multiple ongoing projects
• Attend internal and external training to increase product knowledge of the door and hardware industry
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements

• Ability to understand and utilize MBC or similar software
• Clear and effective communication skills to ensure great customer service with minimal supervision
• Basic knowledge of industry terminology, nomenclature and hardware components
• Self-disciplined individual who can support multiple projects with varying deadlines
• Detail oriented with intermediate knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail
• Strong cognitive skills (problem solving, decision making, comprehension)
• Favorable results from a criminal background check

Working Conditions

Office environment involving extended periods of computer work; workstation allows standing or sitting. Moderate amount of phone usage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

• Oakdale, MN 55128: Relocate before starting work (Required)
