WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Production Planning role is responsible to Lead and Coordinate all Production Planning Processes for TCC Group Companies. Develop effective production plans based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints across all plants. Key performance includes quality, productivity, efficiency, on-time shipments, and financial results. The production planning role will continuously evaluate current and help to develop future processes while performing the daily activities to support the business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Planning Create the Master Production Schedule that satisfies customer demand while optimizing multiple plant capacity utilization. Establish, manage, and maintain a valid Master Production Schedule for items or categories of items across multiple locations. Collaborate with other functional teams to ensure customers’ expectations and business requirements are met. Lead the process of integrating sales forecasts into viable schedules that are compatible with the business plan. Developing an efficient use of capacities, resources & defined inventory levels. Lead, Mentor and Coach Production Planning at plants to review manufacturing capacity utilization and identify possible manufacturing constraints. Monitors and anticipates production issues due to capacity and new product launches. Responsible to identify, communicate, and drive corrective actions to plants as it relates to production planning. Analyze historical trends and research drivers affecting requirements (seasonality, capacity utilization, etc.). Use this information to identify areas of improvement and updated action plans. Actively resolve issues with demand, capacity constraints and material availability. Provide leadership for production planning in developing & completing objectives. Ability to be able to be creative with scheduling to meet the changing customer demands throughout the year. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to the next management level. Facilitate the utilization and maintenance of the scheduling process to establish parameters, inventory targets, and continuous improvement to support customer service, inventory, and cost targets. Ensure common processes are being utilized and internal controls are in place. Net Suite Operations Lead for TCC Group Companies NetSuite power-user Maintain and advise on changes to Netsuite planning system parameters as required. Ensure accuracy of the parameters. Manage and develop on-site training at all facilities for Operations and support teams. Serves as a common business voice for TCC Group Companies in process and initiatives for NetSuite Operations function inside Organization. Owns and Responsible for the execution and process improvement for the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) process for NetSuite Operations. All other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Business acumen is required with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work successfully without close supervision. Must be able to multi-task in an accurate and timely manner. Possess ability to effectively conceptualize, plan and organize. Ability to act as a lead, delegate, and coordinate a cross functional team toward a common goal. Proficient with Windows PC and Microsoft Office. Knowledgeable and experienced in the construction material industry is a plus. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of financial analysis techniques used in business, operations, or manufacturing.
