Job purpose
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for all materials consumed at Twigg with the goal of reducing cost while improving quality and delivery times. The Purchasing Manager provides guidance and leadership to the Buyer(s) and oversees Stores and its personnel. The Purchasing Department team is responsible for the purchase and delivery of all perishable items, material requisition requests, MRO materials, OSV’s, and production material. Stores supervision includes but not limited to min/max levels, re- order points, and the appropriate EOQ for all perishables. In addition, the Purchasing Manager serves as the backup to the Buyer and their duties and responsibilities. The Purchasing Manager should be very proficient with MS Office products.

While performing this position, the employee works in an office environment. Long periods of computer screen viewing. Long periods of sitting.
Physical requirements
The physical requirements of this position are limited to long periods of sitting and long periods of computer screen viewing. Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
