We are seeking a customer service driven and dedicated retail or food service leader interested in continuing a career in the Retail C-Store Industry. With over 150 locations spread across TN, KY, AL, and GA, we offer ample opportunities to work close to home and engage with your local community.

Summary:
As a District Manager, you will be responsible for leading the operations of a district full of multi-million dollar businesses with diversified product offerings. The DM has total accountability for the efficient and profitable operation of the Tri Star stores within their district. As with any leadership position, District Managers are expected to have relatively open availability to support the needs of the business. The District Manager develops, leads, and coaches their respective General Managers to consistently deliver all the components of the Tri Star offer and culture to maximize the guest experience. This is a field-based position that requires driving throughout the week to assigned locations.
District Manager Responsibilities:
  • Consistent and effective communication of divisional and regional priorities to store teams.
  • Assist General Managers with recruiting, motivating, and retaining a team of high-performing and driven.
  • Identify and celebrate operational successes; develop and implement strategies to capitalize on opportunities in your district.
  • Champions new initiatives and programs and holds locations accountable to compliance standards set by Operations, Legal, Marketing, and Human Resources.
  • Implement and monitor action plans to ensure the achievement of each individual store.
  • Coaching managers to effectively staff to maximize sales.
  • Supervise all policies and procedures regarding loss prevention, security, and ensure they are being followed in your district.
  • Ensure that all stores maintain merchandise presentation according to Visual Merchandising standards and current floor sets.
  • Ensures that strategies, change initiatives, and business opportunities are communicated in compelling ways to your district.
  • Training, supporting, and supervising General Managers to ensure that company goals for customer service, sales, expense, payroll, inventory shrinkage, and profit are achieved and exceeded according to plan.
District Manager Competencies:

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 5 years of retail, hospitality, or restaurant operations management experience.
  • Prior General Manager level experience
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Passion for guest service and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for career development in self and others.
  • Strong financial acumen, marketing awareness, and operational metrics experience.
  • Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, evenings/nights and special events as needed.
  • 18 years of age
  • Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 3 years of multi-unit retail management experience directly supervising General Manager level staff
  • Prior experience in a C-Store and/or food service environments.
  • Prior supervisory experience in Food Service, Retail, or Convenience Store environment.
  • Experience working with MS Excel
