Job Title: Leasing Specialist (MUST HAVE LIHTC EXPERIENCE)

Reports To: Property Manager

Property Details: The Park at Springdale is a 383-unit multifamily development adjacent to Chamberlin Park with the following amenities: Picnic Area, Playground, Basketball Court, and Tennis Court.

Essential Duties:

  • Keeps abreast of area’s market to successfully sell apartment housing to prospective renters.
  • Implement creative sales techniques and exercise relationship building with prospects to achieve high occupancy, meet sales goals, and encourage resident retention.
  • Understands current market forecast including competitor performance and offerings through conscientious monthly market survey completion.
  • Processes all move-in applications and sign all leases with new residents.
  • Process monthly re-certifications and sign all leases.
  • Prepare and distribute move-in gifts/packets.
  • Creates positive, welcoming, supportive environment for co-workers, residents, visitors, and property associates.
  • Responsible for entering daily activity in Onesite/RealPage.
  • Complete maintenance call backs and complete outstanding work orders in Onesite/RealPage software.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent education) required.
  • Section 42, Tax Credit REQUIRED
  • Excellent time management, organizational and written skills.
  • Enthusiasm, good attitude, trustworthiness, personal integrity and honesty.
  • Good human relation skills demonstrating the ability to deal with residents, peers and supervisors.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment while remaining conscientious and adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of computer software specifically Microsoft Office suite. Ability to learn property management software (Onesite/RealPage) quickly.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Weekend coverage will be required

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
