The Life Enrichment Director is responsible for the development and coordination of successful activities and volunteer programs. Will assess residents’ interest, plan and manage resources to support activity needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience in senior living preferred, but not required
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license
• Good organization skills
• A “Can Do” attitude, vision and creativity, and a purpose of creating fun
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Inspire residents and peers to get excited about upcoming events and programs
• Develop and coordinate in-house activities, community events, and entertainment programs
• Prepare monthly calendars and facility newsletters
• Develop annual and monthly budgets for activities
• Assist Marketing Director in the development and coordination of marketing and community relation events
• Coordinate and oversee all volunteer participation in the community
• Participate in monthly resident meeting to receive feedback on ways to improve the seniors’ experience
• Ensure that all experiences ate executed with a high level of resident safety
• Manage multiple different projects in an effective manner
• Other duties as assigned by the Marketing Director or Executive Director
