Job Title: Account Executive
Location: Remote, US (LA, SF and NYC preferred for proximity to clients)
Department: Sales
Type: Full-Time
Experience: 5 years
Salary Range: $76,500 - $90,000 base ( variable commission)
Core Hours: 9 AM - 1 PM PST / 12 - 4 PM EST

Role Summary

Are you a sales professional with a passion for driving revenue and building lasting client relationships? Join our team at tvScientific as an Account Executive, where you'll play a pivotal role in acquiring, managing, and expanding advertiser accounts on our cutting-edge platform. 

Day to day, your primary responsibilities will include independently driving revenue, cultivating relationships with decision-makers, and presenting the value of tvScientific to potential clients. As you progress, you may choose to specialize in a particular region, territory, product, or lead type, allowing you to tailor your approach and drive even bigger outcomes.

Success in this role means exceeding revenue targets, maintaining a steady pipeline of new accounts, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our organization.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, sell, and manage new advertiser accounts on the tvScientific platform.
  • Independently drive revenue and oversee a portfolio of business.
  • Arrange and conduct meetings with decision-makers from potential advertisers.
  • Utilize email and phone communication to secure meetings with leads.
  • Present the value of the tvScientific platform through demonstrations and presentations.
  • Implement a strategic plan to meet revenue targets for existing accounts.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue objectives.
  • Prepare tailored proposals in response to RFPs/briefs to secure new business.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to existing accounts.
  • Stay informed about competitive advantages in the dynamic online advertising industry.
  • Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to incorporate customer insights into future strategies.
  • Work closely with performance and account management teams to maximize revenue from acquired clients.

How We'll Define Success

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of new advertiser accounts.
  • Increase upsell and cross-sell revenue from existing accounts.
  • Secure a high conversion rate from lead to closed deal.
  • Receive positive feedback from clients on the value of the tvScientific platform.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and leverage it effectively in sales strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with product and marketing teams to implement customer-driven improvements.
  • Contribute to the overall growth and success of tvScientific by expanding market presence and revenue generation.

You’ll Be Successful in This Role if You Have/Are

  • Prior experience (5 years) selling performance marketing solutions.
  • Strong network of relationships with performance marketers, digital marketers, media buyers, and technology decision-makers.
  • Proficient in quantitative analysis.
  • Self-motivated and capable of pursuing new clients or territories with minimal guidance.
  • Quick learner with the ability to rapidly understand and communicate new technology and product changes to prospects.
  • Willingness to travel, including some overnight stays.
  • Experience managing sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable collaborating with various teams within tvScientific to close and expand accounts.
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding revenue expectations.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

You May Also Have

  • Experience in other online advertising roles (such as online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, etc.)
