This is a request for engagement with online students in K-12 needing specific Speech Language Pathologist assessment services and accommodations to meet unique IEP learning plans and special needs. Many of these students come from economically disadvantaged or underserved communities, some do not speak English fluently or need help speaking with certain limitations in pronunciation and literacy. These sessions are 30 to 60 minutes long with available hours between 7:30AM and 3:30PM Central Standard time each day, Monday thru Friday. If you would be willing to help us support our students remotely, then you can work with as many or as few sessions as you are able! We expect to start these sessions as soon as we can, so please respond to this listing or email/call if you would be available and willing to help us fulfill this urgent need! Below are the essential duties, qualifications, and pay rate of this role.

Essential Duties:
Review IEPs and ensure 100% implementation of extensive knowledge and provide top quality speech therapy services.
Monitor students’ therapy and academic progress throughout the year in order to update goals and request additional testing when deemed necessary.
Ensure 100% compliance by completing Speech and Language Initials prior to due date as per Texas Education Agency (TEA) timeframe.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge in the appropriate selection of assessment tools, conducting assessments, interpreting, and identifying students with communication disorders and determine eligibility for services according to specific policies and procedures, TEA Guidelines, and Licensing Boards.
Meet with Campus weekly to review student progress and updates.
Maintain Therapy Notes, Tracking Logs, ARD Logs, and Evaluation Logs on a daily basis and review with the Manager on a weekly basis.
Ensure and monitor students’ progress in order to complete progress reports on a quarterly basis.
Provide culturally appropriate treatment materials and behavioral reinforcement consistent with the student’s developmental age, culture and disorder.
Submit Therapy Logs on a regular basis to the manager.
