We are currently seeking :

Foremen

The Foreman will oversee daily operations of a work crew at assigned worksite under leadership of Site Superintendent or Project Manager to ensure the completion of assigned tasks or projects in a safe and efficient manner.

The Foreman will also serve as the point of contact between the construction workers and superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each assigned crew follows all safety standards.
• Lead assigned crew of construction workers and trade professionals to perform specific tasks
• Where applicable, directs and oversees junior or subordinate staff members regarding construction, operations, and / or maintenance tasks and assignments at a project site.
• Report project progress to superiors
• Implement and coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel
• Serve as liaison between assigned crew and superintendent
• Solve disputes between workers
• Delegate individual responsibilities and projects to assigned crew members and contractors
• Monitor need, use, and expenses for crew supplies or tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of related experience required.
• Ability to organize a work schedule
• Ability to solve disputes between workers
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to negotiate
• Deep knowledge of the construction industry and processes
• Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints, preferred
• Perform quality checks on construction equipment
• Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather and bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to make inspections.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at times.
• Travel is required.
