Position Overview:

As the Machine Maintenance in charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all machinery within our manufacturing facility. You will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime, maximizing productivity, and ensuring the safety of our workforce and involves hands-on maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, lubrication, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues with machinery and develop effective solutions to minimize downtime.

3. Repair and Calibration: Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty parts, components, and systems as needed. Calibrate machinery to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

4. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions, coordinating with production staff to resolve issues in a timely manner and minimize disruptions to the manufacturing process.

5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment manuals. Keep track of spare parts inventory and reorder supplies as necessary.

6. Team Leadership: Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.

7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in machine maintenance procedures. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines governing equipment maintenance and operation. Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold workplace safety and environmental regulations.

9. Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to coordinate maintenance activities and address cross-functional issues affecting production goals.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical certification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in machine maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment.

· Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC programming and other machine use in the US facility.

· Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions.

· Leadership experience with proven ability to lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians.

· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.

· Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards related to equipment maintenance and operation. (OSHA – Occupational Safety and Health Administration)

· Flexibility to work non-standard hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.
