The YMCA of Greater Richmond is looking for a Youth Development Center Director to serve as a positive role model and who will plan programming, oversee center management and supervise children at our childcare site at the Tuckahoe Family YMCA. DutiesResponsibilities include development and implementation of engaging youth development programs, supervision of a group of school age children, and day-to-day operations of a school age childcare center. Seasonal responsibilities include high quality day camp programming: including planning, parent communication, and staff development and oversight. Qualifications
Experience with supervising staff, budgeting and program administration.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Candidates must meet Virginia DOE licensing requirements: college-level coursework in a related field or CDA required.
Minimum age is 21.
Candidates must be responsible, enthusiastic, and able to direct children and staff in a positive way.
