Turning Point Associates, Inc., an established and well respected private practice, is looking to expand it's clinical team by adding a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor Associate on a PART-TIME with advancement to FULL-TIME basis.

The chosen candidate will complete accrual of hours toward licensure in one location ahead of schedule while practicing within a supportive clinical environment.

MUST HAVE LPC-A License. Must have supervisor in place.

TPAI is an outpatient counseling and psychological services private practice located in San Antonio’s Medical Center. We are a multidisciplinary treatment team including psychologists, licensed professional counselors, and a staff psychiatrist. Eligible candidates will be competent in the broad spectrum of counseling, including rapid differential diagnosis and the provision of psychotherapy, including (but not limited to) cognitive behavioral therapy, substance abuse counseling, individual, family, group, and couples therapy. Service population is full spectrum, including children, adolescents, adults and seniors addressing general psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, oppositional defiance, PTSD and substance abuse disorders. Experience with rehabilitation, medical and/or geriatric populations strongly desired, as well as solid diagnostic skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
