Stellenbeschreibung

We have an exciting opportunity in our real estate sector in Munich. This includes office and retail projects as well as hightech & manufacturing projects (e.g. warehouses, pharma, data centres). Projects range from multiple complex small projects, through to large, new build projects.

Tasks:

• Develop, implement and maintain cost management procedures and processes to support projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare preliminary, elemental and detailed estimates of construction and related costs.
• Review and evaluate / value-engineer design and outline specifications and exercise cost control in conjunction with the project team.
• During the construction phase, prepare regular cost reports, cashflow forecasts and progress valuations for payment.
• Prepare pro-active estimates for variations.
• Carry out project cost performance analysis to support reporting.
• Undertake quantitative and qualitative risk analysis on the project costs.
• Identify the key programme cost issues and focus attention on the critical elements for delivery within the project.
• Identify significant areas of risk based upon forecast information within the cost reports.
• Communication of the cost management standards throughout the planning and construction teams.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or similar.
• Ideally qualified as a registered Quantity Surveyor.
• A minimum of 5 years proven experience on constructions projects.
• English skills are required as well as basic German skills (min. B1) and willingness to improve the German language skills – Turner & Townsend can assist by providing intensive language training courses.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of cost databases and/or estimating software is advantageous.
