Job Role: Beginning in Q2 or Q3, join our client’s dynamic Capital Projects team in the Elko, NV area as a Construction Manager for a Ventilation Shaft Project. This onsite, project-based position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of an 1860 ft. deep shaft with a diameter of 21 ft. This project is critical to operations and requires a skilled and experienced individual to ensure its success.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
• Track field quantities and prepare comprehensive daily construction reports.
• Lead regular safety engagements, audits, and meetings with contractors.
• Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure alignment with the schedule.
• Serve as the Company's primary representative on-site, effectively managing day-to-day activities with the chosen contractor for sinking.

Qualifications:

• Experience in shaft sinking is essential.
• Technical degree in engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of industrial construction experience, or 15-25 years of relevant industrial construction experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Schedule:

• Monday to Saturday, 6 am to 4 pm (10 hours per day).
• Rotation of 3 weeks on and 1 week off.
• Openness to working night shifts if required by the project.
