Excellent opportunity to grow within the Environmental Laboratory community. Busy Environmental Laboratory in Tucson seeks a highly motivated Project Manager Assistant to assist the Laboratory Director with client services. Duties will include project set-up and maintenance, communication of analytical issues, review of laboratory documentation and assisting clients with analytical questions. The Project Manager Assistant also helps to support the Sample Management Technician and Field Sampler.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project set-up and maintenance

Timely and thorough communication with clients regarding any analytical needs or analytical challenges that need to be addressed.

Reviews sample receiving forms, reports, ADEQ State Forms and invoices for accuracy prior to release to the clients.

Effectively communicates with the laboratory staff regarding clients’ needs and any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

B.S. / B.A. in Chemistry, Biology, or another related field

Strong computer skills

Excellent customer service skills
