YOUR LIFE AS A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL / PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT
The typical schedule for this position is Mon - Fri 11 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm and every other Saturday 11 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm.
As a Direct Support Professional / Personal Care Attendant, you support individuals with developmental disabilities. Your support is needed in many areas of daily living including medication administration, hygiene, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and housekeeping.
You also assist with grocery shopping, running errands, and finding activities that they enjoy. As needed, you provide physical support such as lifting individuals in and out of wheelchairs.
Using effective mentoring techniques, you provide hand-over-hand assistance. You help to maintain individuals' personal spending ledgers and review their checking / savings accounts as needed.
You also assist with employment, making sure individuals are able to perform their jobs as expected. Conscientiously, you keep accurate and up-to-date documentation as well as promptly report any concerns about health or safety.

Now known as TURN Community Services, we provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities across Utah.
With locations from Brigham City to St. George, we offer a full range of services including day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities.
