ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Direct Living and Employment Support Professional, each day provides new opportunities for you to help people with disabilities live fuller, more independent lives. You offer direct support to clients in their homes, assisting them with daily living tasks such as housekeeping, grooming, meals, and taking medications. Always safe and punctual, you transport clients to various places and help them run errands. You also set clients up for professional success by advocating for their needs at work and helping them feel comfortable in their positions. No matter what you're doing, you offer companionship and essential support that helps every client thrive!
OUR STORY
Formerly known as Project TURN, we were founded in 1973 by a group of parents who wanted better services for their adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Now known as TURN Community Services, we provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities. With locations from Brigham City to St. George, we offer a full range of services including day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities. The mission of our nonprofit is to TURN dreams into reality! That applies to our employees as well.
