Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Assosiate . As a Shipping and Receiving Assosiate , you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices

- Inspect shipments for damages or defects and report any discrepancies

- Unload, sort, and label incoming goods

- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to order specifications

- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 to track inventory and update records

- Operate RF scanners to scan barcodes and ensure accurate inventory management

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any shipping or receiving issues

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

- Forklift Experiance

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred

- Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking

- Ability to operate reach trucks or order pickers is a plus

- Basic math skills for inventory counting and calculations

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

-12 hours, and 5-6 days per week.
