Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team at Tunks Construction. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to assist with construction and excavation projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to: horizontal drilling equipment, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, bulldozers, and backhoes
- Perform tasks such as digging, building, and moving materials as required for construction projects
- Safely operate equipment according to company guidelines and industry standards
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on job sites
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment, including loaders, dump trucks, tankers, bulldozers, and backhoes
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
