Tunista Logistics Solutions LLC Regular PRIMARY FUNCTION Responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of all contract operations and the entire life cycle, enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for providing logistic management and overseeing the overall logistic processes in support of the objectives of the statement of work. Planning, oversight, and management and coordination of logistics support operations to ensure smooth accomplishment of projects. Plans and executes the set-up of project sites, as well as coordinating, directing, and monitoring activities of employees, contractors, and others involved in executing an assigned project. Handles the project logistics, organization, and safety by adequately scheduling staff to ensure timely completion of projects. Works hand-in hand with management to ensure that communications and safety protocols are followed, prioritizes work task orders and organizing tasks based on project deadlines. Strategically plans and manages logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service operations. Directs, optimizes and coordinates full order life cycle management, keeping track of quality, costs, efficiency, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets Supervise, coach and train logistical workforce resolving any arising problems or complaints Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has full supervisory responsibilities and the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks to include scheduling, monitoring, time keeping approval and disciplinary actions when needed. This position will manage overall program performance and perform exempt level decision making including interviewing, hiring, terminating, performance reviews, and performance corrections. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Ability to safeguard all government property/facilities and provide adequate resource protection to prevent contamination, pilferage, sabotage, and accidental damage, including controller used controlled forms. Must be a self-starter with a tenacious drive for completing routine duties as well as resolving novel challenges; analyze, research, find and implement solutions, and document key steps. Present a neat, clean, and professional appearance always, unless precluded by assigned work. Demonstrable experience as a self-starter who takes initiative in problem resolution, and follow-through for non-routine issues. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or Transportation; Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, or in a related field or 10 years DoD Logistics or Base Operations Support Contract Management with emphasis in Material Management experience. Experience with managing a Union workforce under a Collective Bargaining Agreement Familiar with Army and DoD regulations, practices and procedures and experience in managing budgets in a Firm Fixed Price environment. Must be able to pass a drug test, and have, or be able to obtain, a DoD National Agency Check Investigation (NACI) Secret Security Clearance.
