We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in all aspects of daily operations. Dutiftes:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail store
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Train and supervise sales associates, ensuring they meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels
- Assist with merchandising and product displays to maximize sales
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop strategies to increase sales and improve store performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail management role is required
- Strong knowledge of retail operations and sales techniques
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proven ability to drive sales and meet targets
- Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers
- Experience with inventory control and management
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory calculations
