Job Title: Carpenter for Manufactured Homes - Work Indoors

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team in manufacturing high-quality, energy-efficient homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with excellent knowledge of construction processes and materials used in the manufacturing of homes. As a Carpenter for Manufactured Homes, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and finishing various components of manufactured homes, ensuring that each home meets our quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to work indoors in a modern factory environment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine carpentry requirements for each home.
- Assemble, install, and finish various components of manufactured homes, including walls, roofing, flooring, cabinets, doors, windows, and trim.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment, to perform carpentry tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned projects and meet production targets.
- Inspect finished products to identify and resolve any defects or issues, ensuring the homes are of the highest quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and recycling to ensure environmental compliance.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to report progress, challenges, and suggestions for process improvement.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations, including safety guidelines, to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of various carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, nail guns, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform strenuous tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in carpentry would be an advantage.

Work Environment:
This position primarily involves working indoors in a climate-controlled factory environment. The Carpenter will be exposed to moderate noise levels, construction materials, and machinery commonly found in a manufacturing setting. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided as necessary to ensure a safe working environment.
