Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Barista/ Bartender/ Event Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a family oriented environment. As the Event Host you'll help us with our upcoming birthday parties/events. Not only will coffee be served at these events but you'll also be responsible for greeting guests, helping with , and making sure everyone has a great time. Barista/Bartender Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks

- Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment

- Take customer orders and handle transactions accurately

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area

- Provide friendly and efficient customer service

- Upsell products and promote specials to customers

Experience:

- 1-2 years experience as a barista required

- Understanding of coffee types, flavors, and preparation methods

- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively

Event Host Duties:

• Assist customers with their individual needs during the party/event
• Work with management to determine event-related goals, objectives, and priorities
• Develop and follow through on action plans to accomplish goals
• Coordinate with staff to arrange event logistics
• Organize facilities and equipment
• Assist with setup and break down
• Provide general upkeep of facilities
• Support all operational and promotional effort

Event Host Responsibilities:

• Provide superior customer service to guests at parties/events
• Process special food and beverage orders for events, comply with health regulations, maintain adequate inventory, and oversee order fulfillment
• Perform duties such as bar-tending, serving food, and greeting guests
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in a hospitality environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
