The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. S/He is responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for medical/surgical patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. S/He collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. S/He serves in a resource role when oriented and as directed. S/He supports the organization’s vision and mission. S/He utilizes knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. S/He contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Job Requirements:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire required.
