Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate preprint and advertising needs to leadership and shop managers in assigned areas according to the corporate preprint schedule
  • Order appropriate signage for featured merchandise including all sizes and shops
  • Sort, review and disperse sign packets upon arrival
  • Work alongside shop managers to maximize product visibility and placement, planning adjustments as needed
  • Work alongside shop managers and the leadership team to place and remove all signage according to the ad schedule and warehouse fixtures appropriately
  • Complete and submit the Ad Recap report following each ad with input from all areas of the store
  • Ensure Quarterly end cap compliance within both Scheels and vendor standards given for each specialty shop
  • Create an annual strategy of vendor events that promote and align with the store’s goals and create customer and store interaction
  • Execute first-class events to drive sales, traffic, and community good-will
  • Coordinate schedules, organize materials, review transportation itineraries and book venues and services for vendor events
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
  • Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels’ policies and procedures
  • Ability to work assigned scheduled which may include varied hours, evening, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to operate the on-site sign program to make final changes to signage and to assist the sign-maker as needed
  • Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor, as needed

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Roles are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
