Patient Access Representative

Tulsa OBGYN Associates is a single-specialty practice located in Tulsa, OK. We are seeking a Patient Access Representative for our Tulsa, OK office. Our ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare environment and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with patients, staff and other members of the community.

Responsibilities:
·Provide exceptional customer service
·Ensure that all records are kept up-to-date and accurate records are maintained in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
·Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients, staff, visitors, and vendors
·Coordinate patient care activities with other departments such as billing or insurance verification or scheduling
·Communicate with physicians regarding patient care issues and requirements
·Respond to patient complaints in a timely manner in order to resolve them efficiently
·Maintain accurate records of all interactions with patients through phone calls, e-mails, faxes, etc.
·Prepare reports for physicians and other department heads on relevant patient data as needed
·Serve as an advocate for patients by keeping up-to-date on new medical procedures and guidelines that can improve patient care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
