Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, HVAC/R, and mechanical systems
- Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components or parts
- Fabricate or modify equipment as needed
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document maintenance activities
- Perform stick welding for repairs or modifications
- Assist with low voltage electrical work
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications:
- Industrial electrician experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to fabricate or modify equipment as needed
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Proficiency in stick welding preferred
- Experience with low voltage electrical work is a plus
- Technical sales or field service experience is beneficial
