Tully Rinckey is one of the nation’s largest federal sector labor and employment law firms and is seeking a competent and experienced Federal Employment Consultation Attorney to join our fast-growing team of accomplished lawyers in providing top-quality legal services.

You will join a team of full-time and part-time consult attorneys serving as an initial point of contact for screened clients looking to learn more about how our firm’s team of attorneys can help them achieve their legal goals.

Our federal employment law team has over 200 years of experience practicing federal employment law and routinely discusses emerging issues, legal challenges, unique fact patterns, and client management issues. You will be a key team member in developing winning legal strategies and managing client expectations throughout the onboarding process.

Ideal candidates will possess broad federal employment law experience, sound judgment, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team of senior leadership and management in providing quality legal services. The position requires knowledge in areas including but not limited to federal EEO law, MSPB representation, OSC and whistleblower representation, adverse actions, federal appeals, and more.

Qualifications:

Quality candidates will have 10 years of consultation or legal practice experience in federal employment law and be well-versed in various aspects of federal employment law. Consult attorneys within the firm are responsible for initial consultations with potential new clients, setting expectations for their legal matter, and describing how the firm’s team of attorneys can help them achieve their goals.

The consultation attorney must be understanding, articulate, and have strong oral communication skills. The attorney must also be licensed to practice law in one state jurisdiction in the United States.
