The Study Abroad Advisor’s primary responsibilities include: counseling students about Tulane-approved study abroad programs; guiding students through the application and pre-departure process; planning and supervising outreach activities and orientations for perspective and returned students; supervising peer advisors; developing digital advising material; engaging with returned study abroad alumni through re-entry workshops and webinars; and proactively networking with departments on campus to promote global education. Potential service as an on-site coordinator for summer programs abroad may be requested and some foreign and domestic travel is required.
