Tulane University is Hiring a Portfolio Specialist Near Orleans, LA
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising, preferably in higher education.
- Experience in data driven research of individuals using industry standard software, web-based search tools, data management systems, social media and other methodologies; as well as MS Office suite
- Excellent organization skills, including the ability to manage multiple demands and/or projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and organizational aptitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Required Education and/or Experience
- Minimum of two years direct research, development or transferable experience required. Transferable experience includes: database management, records management, prospect research and/or direct major gift fundraising.
- Demonstrated understanding of major gifts fundraising and/or portfolio management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Tulane University
