Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Financial Assistance Analyst to support Tuknik and our government customer. This is a remote opportunity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform initial review of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) contract ratification and/or 2 CFR 200 financial assistance ratification packages to ensure all required documents are present and assist in the analysis and recommendation of approval by the BPC.
  • Assist the Government Analysts with the development of topics and agendas and execution of meetings, conference calls and/or training sessions as needed.
  • Gather information for, produce and maintain records for program goals and/or reports.
  • Enter, search for, edit and extract data, information, and reports from financial, procurement and financial assistance systems.
  • Create diagrams, charts, or other graphics information that might be required for procurement, financial assistance and/or management reports.
  • Assist in the review of procurement contracts, interagency agreements and/or financial assistance agreements to ensure necessary elements are incorporated within the document.
  • Communicate with the document submitter and/or Government Analyst if changes are necessary.
  • Compile, review and analyze information and data to draft various reports, guidance documents and templates and to respond to various data calls.
  • Coordinate corrective actions with contracting and/or financial assistance.
  • Government personnel after analysis of procurement and/or financial assistance information and data has been completed by Government Analyst and the
  • Contractor for data calls or special requests.
  • Analyze and discuss recurring trends with Government Analyst when identified after completion of review and analysis of procurement and/or financial assistance documents or reports and recommend corrective measures.
  • Advise on methods and policies and coordinate providing information to, and receiving information from, field activities and other Government personnel.
  • Assist with the technical aspects of receiving, reviewing, and processing various contracting and/or financial assistance certification requests (FAC C/FAC COR/FAAO/ATR) requests, and in entering and updating related tracking documents and systems.
  • Use clear and professional communication and provide a high quality of customer service when drafting documents and interacting with Government personnel.
  • Attend training in support of the tasks required in this contract as deemed necessary and appropriate by Federal personnel.
  • Be proficient at Office365 and Gmail-based and Outlook email.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (BS/BA)
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
