SUMMARYManages the daily operation of large and/or multiple food service units, serving volumes greater than 500 lunch meal equivalents daily. Manages daily production, service, and related operations for District meal programs. Complies with departments, District, and regulatory agency requirements. Prepares and serves food. Position hours are adjusted throughout the year based on customer participation volume.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSAssociate’s degree in Institutional or Restaurant Management.ORCompletion of a food service certification program in Institutional or Restaurant Management, which includes course work in personnel management, marketing or customer service, quantity food production and food service sanitation ANDFour (4) years food service experience, which includes two years of supervisory experience.ORSix (6) years of food service production experience, which includes two years of supervisory experience ANDCourse work in personnel management, marketing or customer service, quantity food production and food service sanitation. Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIREFBI fingerprint background check.Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization. Completion of a Health Department Food Service Operator’s Certificate within three months from date of hire. • 1 Position for Oyama, Cholla and Tolson - 1.0 FTE, 8 hours per day, 12 Month Position
• 1 Position for District Catering/Special Events - 1.0 FTE, 8 hours per day, 12 Month Position 
• 1 Position Float - 1.0 FTE, 8 hours per day, 10 Month Position

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
