Application Developer

Job Summary:

To function as team member to assist members, staff, and third parties with general aspects of application development and application support for the Credit Union. Assist credit union members and other branches/departments with application development related actions. Design, develop, test, deploy and enhance in-house custom applications, 3rd party integrations and member facing digital services. Utilizing agile development methodology, deliver assets in a timely and professional manner. Assist other IT teams as needed to support applications both member and staff facing. Provide backup support to other team members within the department.

Salary: $74K-$104K DOE

Daily Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy and enhance custom internal and external software applications, 3rd party integrations and member-facing digital services.
• Gather and analyze user requirements, defining application objective.
• Recommend system feature and functionality to improve efficiency and user experiences.
• Support of development tools and environments.
• Participate in project planning using Agile methodologies
• Assist members and staff with application development related matters.
• Assist the IT department, primarily IT Help Desk, as required.
• Provide backup support to other team members within the department.
• Remain knowledgeable of industry standards, best practices, trends, and new technologies which facilitate the continued maturity of the IT Application Development team.

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum of one year of experience in:
  • Developing software applications using .NET framework, C#, C , JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
  • Developing API integrations using SOAP, REST, or RESTful
  • Experience with MuleSoft AnyPoint preferred
  • Experience with Azure DevOps preferred
  • Experience in Financial Services preferred
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related major OR equivalent certification or wok experience.
