Locally owned and operated Lawn and Landscape company looking to add an experienced Landscape Foreman to our team to expand our Landscape Division. Foreman title requires prior experience running 2-3 man crews, driving trucks with trailers and box trucks, landscape installation and maintenance experience, drainage and irrigation experience is a big plus. CDL is welcomed and will be compensated appropriately. This will begin as a flex-position with lawn maintenance crew (see below).
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Supervisor to join our team. As a Landscape Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a crew in various landscaping and groundskeeping tasks. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills and expertise in landscape maintenance. The work is hot during the summer. Prior-experience in Plantings, Machine Operating, Landscape Installations (bed areas, rock, mulch, straw), Paver Edging, Irrigation, Drainage, etc. Any key skill you bring to the table will be compensated appropriately. (Ex. CDL or Masonry experience)
When we're in between landscaping jobs we ask that you be able to work with the Lawn Maintenance division to help stay on schedule and assist keeping up with hours. General zero turn mowing, weedeating with string trimmer, edging with stick edger, blowing with backpack blower, and hedging with gas hedge trimmers. Experience required and must be demonstrated.
Duties:
- Supervise and lead a crew of landscapers in daily operations
- Plan and organize work schedules to ensure timely completion of projects
- Perform various landscaping tasks, including tree care, irrigation, garden maintenance, lawn care, and general groundskeeping
- Train and mentor team members on proper techniques and safety protocols
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and tools
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
Experience:
- Proven experience in landscaping and groundskeeping, with a focus on landscape maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work! THIS IS OUR TOP PRIORITY!! Do not apply to half-ass work and piss off our clients!
- Strong knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and groundskeeping techniques
- Previous experience in supervising a team or crew
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the landscaping industry. Training provided as well.
