POSITION: Personal Lines CSR

VISION OF THE ROLE:
The Customer Service Rep takes care of personal lines clients, consults and quotes new clients, pursues continuous education, and helps drive the retention and growth of Tucker Insurance Agency. Customer Service Reps must exemplify a consultative and service-minded approach to clients and prospects while developing extensive personal lines insurance knowledge covering homeowners, auto, and other personal lines products.

OUTCOMES:
- Master required technology including IMS, Outlook, Microsoft Word, etc.
- Recognize client needs, provide education, and cross-sell additional coverages to protect individuals
- Handle client service proactively and respond rapidly on service requests

MAJOR ACTIONS OR INITIATIVES:
- Manage renewals autonomously while meeting deadlines and creating a great client experience
- Act as a client advocate throughout major personal claims
- Act as a primary point of contact for personal lines customers
- Remarket and requote personal lines policies, ensuring existing clients have the best coverage at the best price
- Act as a liaison between insurance carriers and clients

ROUTINES
- Advise clients and prospects regarding auto, home and personal liability coverages
- Manage client communications across phone, text, email and other mediums
- Renew client policies via renewal list while handling cancellations and other policy changes
- Address client bills and pursue payments when necessary
- Prepare and deliver binders and billing statements
- Handle day to day service requests related to coverages and billing
- Organize and handle significant and sensitive client data in accordance with agency standards

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years personal lines insurance experience
- Willingness to pursue Michigan General Lines or Personal Lines Property and Casualty Agent License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree a plus
