Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Valdosta and Albany, GA

Specific duties/responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Project Management to include: safety, cost estimating, proposal preparation, develop and plan investigations, monitoring project schedules to meet deadlines, cost control, project invoicing and contract review.
• Ability to identify geotechnical engineering issues and present multiple effective solutions in a written report or on engineering construction plans.
• Perform and review geotechnical design calculations and prepare construction plans.

Requirements:

• BS or MS (preferred) in Civil Engineering specializing in geotechnical engineering
• 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience
• 5 years of progressive project management experience.
• Experience with expansive soils, soft soils, shallow and deep foundations, design of retaining walls, soil laboratory testing and field experience related to earthwork activities.
• Georgia P.E. license
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
