Product Inspector Monday - Friday (1st shift) Approximately one week in Miramar and then transition to Tamarac for on-the-job training Temp to Perm $18.50/hr Job Summary: Join a dynamic team in the drug delivery systems industry as a Product Inspector and embark on an exciting journey, you'll play a vital part in ensuring quality and efficiency and be fully aware of the inspection environment from the outset. Involves working in a dimly lit and quiet room, where you'll be seated for 8 hours a day. Your focus will be on performing repetitive and timed inspections for small particulates, requiring sustained concentration throughout your shift. Applicants should feel at ease:

Sitting for extended periods during work shiftsJob Responsibilities:
Perform visual inspection of filled product containers (vials, ampoules, bottles, bags, etc.) for small particulate matter and product quality attributes as described in the procedure.
Train and qualify to consistently meet the requirements for inspection timing, output, and detection of defects.
Perform required documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs), including recording inspection results, number and type of defects, time of inspection, product identity information, and signing and dating for the work performed.
Complete other packaging tasks as required, including measuring, weighing, counting products or materials, manually adding leaflets, labels, and stickers, sealing product packaging manually or with the use of support equipment, loading downstream packaging equipment, and scanning codes in cartons, shipper cases, and pallets.
Support packaging operations by moving components and materials with the use of pallet jacks or manually.
Support packaging operations by maintaining the cleanliness of the production area, including removing waste and cleaning work areas with cleaning solutions and hand tools.
Understand the production schedules and work independently to meet the production goals.
Follow all departmental and company safety policies in order to prevent injury to self and others.
Support all Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives to ensure compliance with corporate and other regulations.
Perform other duties in order to meet the department's production schedule or to comply with cGMPs.
Work as a member of the team to achieve all outcomes.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience with Food/OTC or other FDA regulations, previous visual inspecting sterile products in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing.
